I am suffering from light heaviness in my left lower stomach from 3 months .while I taken rifagut with normaxin ,i feel comfort but on stopping medicine symptoms arise again. I have lost 3 kg of weight .now doctors told me that I have swallow large intestine and I am taking ornidazole with normaxin but feel light pain in same area.

Hi lybrate-user. If you are having this problem for three months with only partial relief with medications, the you need a proper work up. At least an ultrasound or colonoscopy to begin with. And blood tests. If these suggest a problem then we can further may require confirmatory tests. If you already have an ultrasound or colonoscopy you can share the report with me.
