I am 33 years old. I am experiencing severe pain from an external hemorrhoid since last 4 days. There has been no occurrence of any bleeding. My bowel movements are normal to semi-solid, but acidic in nature (slight burning sensation). I have tried using "anovate" cream as well as "thank you od" cream. But both don't seem to have worked. I have also had to take pain killers (ibuprofen). Is there any other line of treatment that I can implement? Do I need some oral medicines / antibiotics? What other cream should I use? Please advice.

Take sitz bath with added salt added to water 15 minutes three times a day apply sucral ano cream locally four times syp cremaffin plus 3tsf at night if you have constipation.

Its may be anal fissure, use to change your diatery habbits nd add some laxative with sitz bath its help you, some time may be antibiotics need depends on it appear and symptoms

Think you have got a thrombosed pile mass. U got to check with the surgeon and if t s thrombosed pile mass the thrombus has to be let out to be symptom free. If its fissure in ano then you can have pain on passing stools.in that case use smuth gel just for 5 days and avoid hard stools and take plenty of fluids and high fibre diet.

Hi thanks for your query. You take high fibres diet and green vegetables and plenty of water daily. And avoid spicy food. You should do sitz bath three times daily for 10-15 minutes daily and apply smuth cream three times daily. If constipation occur then take duphalac syrup 30 ml at bed time. You can consult to surgeon for the examination.

You have fissure in ano. That means a tear inside anal canal. What you see out side is the oedema of the tear inside. You try cremagel take it on your index finger and apply inside 15 mts before you go to toilet and after that. Immediately after toilet you can have sitz bath also with warm saline. Take tab. Ciplox tz two times daily after food for 5 days. Take some stool softeners also.
