I am suffering from pain in my right ear from past 3-4 months. The pain is occasional, inside the whole ear. It's intensity increases with jaw movements. Also a feeling of tightness is associated on right ear side. It's also intensified from using headphones and earphones. No buzzing, no hissing and no extra wax fluid formation I checked it from cotton swap. I visited a general doc. 2 months ago in my college dispensary, they checked from a torch and told there's some pus formation and prescribed a ceflox drop and some tabs. Temporarily there was some relief but again hit me back after some days. The discomfort and pain are occasional it feels for 2-3 days regular and then vanishes for some days. Also it occurs mostly in some special periods of day, most often during evening and night and also for some time after waking up in the morning.

There is a possibility that your ear pain maybe related to the temporomandibular joint (tmj / jaw joint) which is located just in front of your ear canal. The other possibility of course is the presence of some fungal material within the ear canal with skin inflammation. It will be good to have a telephonic interview in order to clarify further details regarding your condition.
