My wife aged 51 yrs is taking atenolol-50mg and Amlodipine-5 mg for BP once every day. Her Total cholesterol is 254, HDL-48, LDL-165, triglyceride-206, and VLDL-41. Please suggest if she has to take some medicine for reducing the cholesterol. She is otherwise normal.
