Hi doctor. Currently my girlfriend is facing with some menstruation problem. Firstly, her period came 1 week later than the expected date. Now the period came for 2 days and it stop. The period was brown discharged. What is the problem that my girlfriend is facing currently?

Is there any chance of pregnancy. If yes then you need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. If no then get your thyroid profile, cbc, fsh, prolactin, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab.If everything is normal then do an ultrasound of abdomen.For more details you can consult me.
