I am 22 years old female. I am overweight and I have pcod. My periods are not regular. There was no periods for last 3 months. I have taken progestin medication (duphaston tablet) last month for 5 days. Then withdrawal bleeding occurred. Can I take this progestin medication (duphaston tablet) every month before the date of period? What are the side effects of using this medicine in every month before periods? Please help.

Since you have already been diagnosed with pcos concentrate on weight reduction. Follow a proper diet and exercise regimen. Your periods should become regular with that. If not then you can take withdrawal tablets.
