Madam, I have recently diagnosed with ild (uip pattern) in Nov 19. Having cough and shortness of breath. But before 3 to 4 months I was almost ok only complain was cough. Presently taking pirfemax 200 tid esiflo inhaler, lumenac 600 tid.

Mr. lybrate-user, ild treatment specifically uip requires anti fibrotics the correct dose of pirfenidone is 2403 mg per day to be gradually increased after monitoring safety profile. Unless adequate dose is given, the drug won’t work lumenac currently is not recommended also inhaler only if there is reversibility kindly send your complete lung function with dlco report and ct film also get vaccinated for pneumonia and swine flu.
