I am male 75 years of age. I am Type 2 Diabetic and initially took tablets prescribed by my Doctor (Gen. Physician). Now for the last 20 years under advise from diabetic doctor I take Insulin injection and tablets in the morning at 8 .30 and then take breakfast after about 20 minutes. I take lunch at 1.00 PM and just before lunch take tablet. .Then before dinner I take insulin injecttion and then after about 15 minutes take dinner. I consume tea without sugar and generally avoid sweets. The injection dose and tablets are as per my diabetic doctor and regularly consult doctor after app. 3to 4 montha and get tested for fasting sugar and 2 hours after lunch. There is no sugar in my urine. My results are generally OK.What should I do to reduce tablets as well as injection. My blood sugar after 2 hous of lunch is between 140 to 165m/ml.Ocassionally I do some yoga excercise. Please advise.
