I am 18 years old male, last weekend during a college function, a suddenly black out & woke up in hospital, fellows told that you were having some kind of a seizure when you fell (body shaking), the next day when I woke up after sleep, I just washed my face with cold water in the morning and my tongue began to stick out involuntarily, neck and jaws became stiff (symptoms similar to tardive dyskinesia), I went in emergency to the hospital where they gave me calcium injection and I slept, I woke up the following night and again same condition followed after I used water, doctor then forbade me to use cold water & I am taking 3 medicines now, doc said it happened due to anxiety & tension, however,i can handle stuff like that pretty well, I personally think that this is due to withdraw of alprazolam which i've been taking for past few weeks. My question is, can xanax cause such seizures and what should I do now apart from the medications? Thanks!
