Hello Doctor, I am 42 years old and my periods have become irregular. It came after two months but now there is excessive bleeding as well as too much clotting. I am a working woman sometime things become very embarrassing. So kindly give me a solution.

Hi, you need to see a doctor as considering your age, you may require ano endometrial biopsy. Prior to that you need to do some tests. Get your cbc, thyroid function, prolactin levels done. Serum fsh and serum lh levels also to be done. Visit your doctor and get some medicines prescribed to stop your bleeding immediately and then gynaec may put you on some harmonal medicines to control bleeding.
