Hi, I am 20 year old. I am doing strength training for more than 1 year and 9 months and I eat soybean 2 day per week and in 1 day I eat around 90 gms of soya so I want to know is it safe for me to eat this much soya? I am already taking whey protein but soya is for extra protein so. how much soya should I take in a week and per day according to my diet mentioned above?

No, if you are taking whey protein after weight training exercise, the you do not need soya.

Hi lybrate-user, since you are doing strenght training regularly for more than a year, your protein requirement is definitely high, I wld say around at least 75 gms. A protein drink post workout is essential alongwith adequate intake of protein throughout the day. But without knowing your exact daily dietary intake it is very difficult to advise whether 90 gms of soy is required or not.
