I have gone thru tests on nov 8. Fasting sugar is 89.9 and hba1c is 6.6/average 143. I am taking glykind m 1-1/2-1/2 for last many years. The result of my test nov 8 is based on strict diet of my own. (no sweets.) now if I wish to be little liberal in my diet (some sweets) which other medicine I should add taking along with my regular dose of glykind. I am 74 and strict vegetarian.

You should not think in that way. You can always eat things in moderation and adapt a very holistic approach towards maintaining good health. Read more about healthy lifestyle changes from the internet so that you can follow a very healthy diet plan. You can exercise every day and eat healthy food (homemade food / organic foods - and take care of the nutritional needs and also keep a check on overall calories ). Go for regular health check up and do the tests as suggested by your doctor. You can update all information for further clarification.
