Hello doctor, I have a hairy 10 cm birthmark above my right knee which is a combination of black & brown closely placed moles. One doctor recommended me laser with not complete surety of it fading away while another suggested me a plastic surgery with resulting possible small scars. My mother is not convinced enough for a surgery she probably thinks it isn't safe. I'm really insecure and want to get my birthmark removed. What should I go for?

Its on knee, why do you want to remove it. Just leave it as it is. If it can be removed without a scar, then its fine. But otherwise leave it.
