My ent doctor prescribed soliwax. I used for 2 days and on 3rd day I started having severe pain in my ear and the back portion of ear right through jaw and a bit of head. Now the doctor says he now discovered a hole in the ear and has changed the drops. But all those areas are still paining, what can be done? Read somewhere that soliwax should not be used when there is a hole, what would have happened and what can be done now?

may be initially there would have been wax so he would have prescribed soliwax but now there may different situation . keep ear dry no water should enter ear. whether after instilling ear drop it comes in throat then definetly hole in ear drum if no drop comes in throat then no hole
