I was diagnosed as having only 40% kidney function in may 2019. Creatinine had gone up to 1.7. Doctors started me on 80 mg lasix per day the creatinine went up to 2.7 and has now come down to 1.7.bun is 56. Will continuous intake of lasix 80 mg bring down my creatinine to normal? How long can it take to come to normal. The diagnosis is ckd 3. How to know if it is progressive.

creatinine reflects your kidney function If your kidney function goes down for any reason then the creatnine will rise.Lasix only promots urine formation.But you need to find out cause of raised creatinine and you need to take precautions to prevent further rise in creatine

Lasix will only will be required in your case if you have swelling on your body it will not help in bringing down creatinine rather it will be harmful by causing dehydration and reduced kidney perfusionk.
