When I was in london, I was prescribed iron, magnesium and vitamin d tablets. Here in delhi. I am given a perfect bill of health. Yet feel tired and sleepy most of the day. I cannot study or work. So I have started taking multi-vitamin tablets. Is this ok, or do I have start iron, vitamin d and magnesium capsules once again. Thanks, email

You need to check your haemoglobin, serum calcium and vit d3 levels. If these levels are low only then you should take medicines. Iron is not routinely given unless you have anemia. Even routine multivitamins are not recommended if you are taking proper and well balanced diet. Do the investigations and consult a physician for further management.
