Hi I am a 31 year old female. I have been taking gerd medicines from about 10 years due to chronic acidity. My acidity is so severe that I have to take omeprazole or panto dsr every alternate day. I have decided to go to a gastrologist for permanent solution however I want to gain information if acidity medicines like omeprazole, panto dsr or rantac dsr effect kidneys in the long run. Are these medicines harmful for kidney health if taken in a long run?
