My wife 53 years old, height 155 kgs, weight 70 kgs menopause case since two years is facing numerous disorders. Currently she suffers severe knee and leg pains apart from feeling of pain a over body. On her feet also occasionally notices swelling on feet elbows. She has done so far only oil massages but no relief. Which doctor to be consulted fir this kind of illness? Pls guide.

The symptoms may belongs to edema means swelling caused by fluid in your body's tissues. It usually occurs in the feet, ankles and legs, but it can involve your entire body. Mild edema usually goes away on its own, particularly if you help things along by raising the affected limb higher than your heart. More-severe edema may be treated with drugs that help your body expel excess fluid in the form of urine. If edema occurs as a result of medication use, you may need to check for an alternative medication that doesn't cause edema.
