I underwent 33 radiotheraphy& 7 chemotheraphy.Last radiotheraphy was done on 24.01.2015. Still mouth ulcer not cured,unable to eat solid food,unable to speak fluently,Lot of pain in mouth after drinking any juicy item too.What will be the remedy?

Usually during radio and chemo therapy there is alteration in salivary gland and salivary flow which leads to oral condition as ulcer. During this phase we have to very concious about the oral hygiene with high level of oral care. For ulcer we can have only symptomatic treatment for burning and pain sensation of ulcer by using medication like oral gel like Mucopain / utigel / dologel Regard Dr.Daya Shankar

Apply Gel contating Lignocaine or benzokain followed before taking food. Use saliva substitute n try to keep mouth moist. Show to oncologist regaurding ulcer whether its malignant or not.
