I am using 33 unit human mixtard u40. Yesterday I bought an insulin pen novo4. That's unit is different in u100. How many unit is taken in U100 pen?

40 or 100 indicates the concentration of insulin in the solution. You still need to take 33 units. Insulin pen on a reading of 33 will deliver 33 units.

33 unit remain same. Only thing concentration of insulin per ml changes. U40 has 40 unit per ml while u100 has 100units per ml.

U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome. And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.
