I am diabetic and take sitagliptin phosphate 100 mg in the morning and metformin 1 g before bed. I am having high fasting blood sugar, which is also pushing my HbA1C reading to around 7.5. Please advice.

Diabetes management is very difficult.In spite of the drugs if you are having high blood sugars means either the dosage needs modification / change drug +strict diet management+brisk morning walk for 45mts 5 days a week.Consult a good dietician.
