I have sleeping problem no matter how hard I try I am not able to sleep before 4 in morning it disturb my whole routine I want to sleep at 12 what to do I am feeling very irritated also.

Dear Lybrate user, you can start by making sure you follow a healthy diet with regular exercise at least 5 times a week. Try not to sleep during the day. Make sure there is a 3 hour gap between your dinner and sleep at night. Doing pranayama (breathing exercises) daily will also help with your sleep issues. Since when are you facing this problem. Is it of recent origin. Do you nap in daytime or do you sleep till late in morning. If yes then stop it. U need to change your habits. Try to go to bed early. Stop watching tv or mobile phone etc atleast an hour before going to sleep. Drink warm milk before going to bed. Even if you not able to sleep do not start chatting on what's app or face book etc. Don't sleep till late in morning. Eat healthy well balanced food. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before bed time. Also dinner should be light do some kind of exercise daily. Slowly your sleeping timings will change. It will take time. Have patience. Hey Anubhav if you want to sleep 12 o'clock. go to the bed early at least 2 hrs before. take some milk before going to the bed. it helps in sleep. do regular exercises and add yoga specifically BHARAMARI PRANAYAM during the day even you can also do it just before going to the bed. you will see the difference even you can get sound sleep. yeah it takes time to practice but no worries. and stop day dreaming n sleep in late morning, cut off all activities around you .. to know more consult me privately for yoga diet n medication if required.
