I have been using lamivudine for a while to treat chronic hepatitis b infection. Can it reduce the virus in my blood from active to non-reactive state?

1 Doctor Answered
You can become non reactive only if it’s acute hepatitis B infection, otherwise the medications if taken properly will keep your viral load to negligible or undetectable level but but you will still be tested as reactive.
