My mother having diabetes from last month. Last month only we came to know that. She is afraid to take any medicine. So can you please suggest the diet and treatment's and medicine which she should follow.

She has to check her fasting,Pp blood sugar and consult diabetologist for advice and treatment .Along with medicine she has to go for regular walk,reduce her weight if overweight,control her diet,avoid sweets, high calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like rice,bread,maida,sugar etc.she has to take proper diabetic diet after consulting dietician
