Knee pain can often be well managed with physiotherapy. If you do not have swelling in your knees, you can do hot water fomentation. Place hot water bag (wrapped with a thing towel) on your knee for 10-12 minutes and if swelling is present, then proceed with icing, on the swollen part. Place a bag of ice cubes or cold gel pack on the affected knee for 10-12 mins in your daily lifestyle, take care that you do not sit down on the floor, avoid squatting. If you are using indian toilet, shift to wc (that is where you will find most difference) walk everyday for at least 20-30 min, if pain-free. Take adequate breaks in between.
