He is 20 year old and taking paroxetine (10 mg) and risperidone (0.5 mg) from nearly a month but still does not have any improvement. He is very tired from these depression and its destroyed his personal as well as social life fully. At the same time he has problem that he think always about suicide, he thought that some 10 to 50 person is coming to kill him and he kill all 50 and then he also died in that and all please provide any helpful treatment.

Sir, kindly tell if he is going through rigorous counseling or not? As he needs to be counselled using different therapies that include thought reconstruction, meditation, psychoanalysis etc. To understand the deeper connection of trauma, bad experiences that he might. Have had. His physical ailments eg weight, hair loss etc along with anxiety and depressive symptoms indicate that his social interaction is very limited which is required for healthy growth and development of mind body. It is hence highly recommended to go for therapeutic counseling along with medication to see changes. For medication kindly chk again with the psychiatrist.in the mean time if you could encourage him to 1. Meditate and do deep breathing exercises 2. Promise to establish social interactions i.e. Meet his friends call them, spend time with family 3. Forcefully but definitely spend time on his interests. Sports, music etc. 4.
