Hi please why am I still feeling sick after I got infected with typhoid fever about 2 years ago? I took antibiotics, almost two years later and am still having intermittent illnesses. Can salmonella typhi live in the body for almost two years? Except in carriers of course. Symptoms are, mild fever, intermittent headaches, constipation, malaise. Thank you.
