I am having major depression since last 15 years. The first episode is very severe with complete numbness in brain resulting in severe short term memory issues. Later I had 5 to 6 episodes but not that severe. Currently I am using paroxetine 50 mg, lamictal 300 mg and buspirone 10 mg. even though there is some improvement in depression, my short term memory no improvement seen, which is bothering you very much forget things where I placed few minutes before etc. Kindly advice add on medication that can improve my memory issues especially short term memory and slow processing of brain. Before depressive episode I used to have excellent memory and sharp grasping which never returned after my first major depressive episode kindly suggest suitable add on medicine.
