Hello sir. I am 22 years old. I have erosive gastritis (diagnosed on 6th may 2019) for which I am taking medications. I also have schizophrenia and depression/anxiety since I was 14 years old. I was on and off on different kinds of psychiatric medications since then. And since past year I had been taking inspiral 20 mg and sizopride 200 mg, .now to avoid complications, I stopped taking inspiral 20 mg and sizopride 200 mg from may. Since past 2 months without psychiatric medications my anxiety and schizophrenia relapsed and I started hearing voices in my head and I am extremely anxious. So two days back I decided to start sizopride 100 mg again to reduce some symptoms with doctors (psychiatrist) consent. Now my question is. Can we take sizopride 100 mg in erosive gastritis? Can sizopride 100 mg worse my condition? Please reply.

you have erosive gastritis for which you are taking medications for the last 2-3 months (since 6th may 2019). It also seems like your schizophrenia and depression/anxiety are also not any better with being on different kinds of medications and inspiral is usually not a medication we use in schizophrenia as it worsens the condition. I also would like to let you know that there are many other medications that help and that you will certainly feel better with those medications to help you with your condition. With regards to your erosive gastritis and hypothyroidism for which you are on medications, you should certainly feel better with being on the right kind of medications for your mental health problems and those medications you take for your physical health should have no bearing on the ones that you use for mental health problems, as long as they are the right medications for you. Dear Mohammed, Sizopride 100 mg can be taken in erosive gastritis. Sizopride will be helpful to reduce the anxiety associated with gastritis. It will NOT worsen your condition.
