I have hyperuricemia and gouty arthritis. My question, is that can I work out with weights. Can I lift weights using my lower body, which, is my primary area of gout pain. Would it affect my bones and joints or not or the pain is just internal due to uric crystal depositions. I am under four month medication to reduce the uric acid levels. Should I lift weights using my legs now?
