I am a parkinson disorder patient. My age is 77. For the last 2 months, my left-hand thumb joint with wrist is painful. Ice and hot water give temporary relief only. Some days, mild swelling is there. What is likely to be the problem, how to tackle it and can ultra sound be used to reduce/ eliminate the pain?
