Hi, I am planning to go for an IUD. All I wanna know is that is it painful. I'm planning to take anesthesia for the same. What is more advised. With or without the anesthesia?

Hello lybrate-user. Iuds are mostly connected with pid. And then very difficult to manage. Can cause menorrhagia.

Local block should be more tha enough as it is very less time consuming procedure. Infact block will get nore time.
