Implants are expensive. It may cost you anything from 25k to 50k depending on the company. Its not the cost but the experience and the expertise of the dentist that matter. Whether he can give you a proper chewing load on the implantÂ

Hello. Fixing a screw is basically an implant placed. It depends on many factors for it to go successful. Age, Bone ridge to mention a few. Ceramic Bridge is another option but it depends on strength of adjacent teeth. Cost of implant should be between 20000 to 35000 INR. And Ceramic bridge is around 2000 to 3500 per crownÂ

What he has advised is either a fixed dental bridge or an implant. For an implant the dentist needs special training and it is costly and unless done under a totally sterile condition may well fail. Make sure he shows you his previous cases and the total treatment plan. Yes, it is expensiveÂ

Dear , it is definitely bad news to hear that the tooth under the crown has got badly effected such that it cannot be saved. They say that the implants system is better and longer lasting than a bridge - moreover in a bridge we inadvertently end up touching your previously untouched adjacent teeth. Moreover, the pressure for biting food is lesser for a bridge whereas, the implant can take more biting pressure than a bridge. Regarding the cost of the same - I would like to put it this way that the there are many different types of implants available today - The German ones presently are being considered better of the lot. It is also important to understand that the cost to the dentist for the same may be high depending upon the type of equipment and instruments he is using (apart from the parts of the implants) to place the same. One also has to consider his overheads in running that practice, use of disposables and quality of materials he or she is using, to deliver that quality to you. His experience and knowledge also needs to be respected apart from the pains he is going to take to do the same for you as well as the time he would taking to deliver the same to you. He could probably do more cases of other type, instead of doing that implant for you. Another way of looking at it is - if anyone can spend Rs. 25000 to 40000 to buy a smartphone from a reputed company, which may not last for more than 3 years or its technology may upgrade or alter or get outdated - at least the implant would give you more than 5 times life hopefully or evenlast 8 times the mobile! A Rs. 25,000 mobile for 3 years will cost you Rs 694 per month and an implant for the same amount for even 10 years will cost you Rs. 208 only! That is 1/3rd the cost of the mobile ! The cost of the prepaid and post paid charges and data plans is extra. I guess one would not be cribbing after understanding this. Please give the Dental surgeon his due and respect, which is pittance you are paying him. Unfortunately, we feel the pinch to pay the Dental Surgeon for his treatment because there is no social gain or reflection in society as compared to a mobile or a dress or jewellery being shown off. Hope I have articulated it well for you. We leave it to you to take a call on the choices offered. This was well intentioned.Â

Very good explained about ur treatment . U have mentioned its tooth beside wisdom tooth that means its ur 2nd molar, ur dentist want to remove that tooth and go for bridge taking support of ur 1stmolar and 3rd molar but according to me the support of 3rd molar is not advised since 3rd molar though it looks erect in our oral cavity at times its roots r cross and bridge on that tooth it might be running for longvity ,so I prefer for implant s this treatment will be coastly compared to bridge but c for quality treatment , not having problem in ur future days. The cost varies from dentist to dentist due to the company the implant is used.Â

Obviously screw option is costing much. As u mention u done root canal treatment before 2 yrs then ask that doc that why it happns within 2 yrs. Is that doc told u that ur treatment last for approxly 2 yrs or less? Be frank if the answer is not satisfactory then go for quality treatment by good dentist only. I clearify that there may be chances that root canal treated tooth can survive less. Its depends on wts the condition of tooth at the time of treatment.Â

Implant (screw) treatment varies from place to place and which implant you are getting done. What's more important is whether you want to save the remaining two teeth from getting grinded for a brief or to go for an implant. But once again it depends on amount of bone left post extraction and the amount of infection present. Generally it is not advised to go for implant if there is residual infection in your mouth. Also multirooted teeth pose a problem for immediate implant placementÂ

Dear , As per the details provided by you your dentist has told you everything clearly and he is right. Coming to the cost factor, today almost (if not more) 100 companies are making Dental Implants (screw as you wrote) with various designs and costs. So it depends on which system your dentist is using, will determine the cost of treatment. Don't mind but it is as good as the brands like clothing, footwear, TV, PC or mobile one prefers because of his own or others experience. It also depends upon which city you live, locality etc. As I think you know the cost of business depends, on these factors. So decide earliest possible. Till then Good Luck and Good Bye.Â
