My wife (age: 31 yrs, wt: 74 kg) is 5 weeks pregnant. She is taking duphaston 10 twice daily, ecosprin & inj hcg 2000 twice weekly, her tsh level has increased from 2.65 to 3.85 after administration of the aforesaid medicine. Does she need any further medication for increase tsh? She has one miscarriage history 6 months ago during ist trimester. please help.

Tsh need not be increased rather than to decrease it to below 2.5. Consult the doctor start on thyroid ahe is having subclinical hypothyroidism.

u do not need thyroid medication but keep on checking tsh level. In my opinion there was no need for so many medication just after 1 miscarriage only,. but if you have already started all, then continue ,there is no harm
