Xray show mild to moderate adenoidal hypertrophy. Pharyngeal airway narrowing of 60%. Is this bad. If so why. My daughters 3 years old. She also has intermittent sleep apnea and d elay in speech as well as fluid in middle ear. What treatment would you advice. The ent does not feel she needs surgery to remove adenoids. Whrn she sleeps her eyes look partially open, as well as have her mouth open. She snores and her chest sinks in slightly. Her chest moves very slowly. I recordedvher respiratory rate at 16 bpm. Is that normal?
