I'm 48, about 4 years ago I had glioma brain tumor of degree 2 located in the motor cortex and then I had surgery + radiotherapy. I recovered after a month and got back to normal. But then it came back after about 4 months ago and I had to undergo glioma of degree 3 surgery + high-dosage chemo-radiotherapy I haven't been able to sleep more than 30 minutes and i'm constantly waking up midnight and i'm restless and no medication helped me sleep so far. Just 1 month after radiotherapy I have strong weakness in my left side muscles and can barely move with a stick. Last mri showed no signs of tumor but radiotherapy damaged my brain cells and caused movement disabilities on my left side muscles, the mri showed edema on that part of my brain. How can I recover from brain cells damage from radiotherapy and is it possible to regenerate those cells and get better at moving and brain functionalities? Thank you.
