Hi. I'm 23. I'm going abroad in august where i'll stay for 5 months and i'm afraid I can't get any medical service there. I'm worried that my wisdom tooth (which is trapped below gum) will come in that period and cause me pain when i'm abroad. Would you say it's better to keep it until I start to show any symptoms or is it better to get it removed well in advance to avoid further complications? I don't want to pull a tooth that's not going to come in for a while.

Hello, i understand your concern but the pain caused by wisdom tooth is really unpredictable it can come anytime and it can be severe too.. So if you are planning to go to abroad that too for such a long duration my advice would be get is removed.. Because anyway its not going to be of any use and ultimately it will require removal.. So go ahead with that. Thanks
