Dear sir/madam, my wife had developed wound in vagina 4 years ago and gynecologist had prescribed some medication and colposcopy was also done. Colposcopy had normal finding and wound also healed completely. She last year went to gynecologist again for follow up investigation though she did not have any problem and she was leading a perfectly normal life. Gynecologist again did colposcopy and this time she told me that colposcopy shows "cin i" grading. She advised me for cold cauterization. I insisted her for a liquid-based pap test and the test shows "negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy" please let me know if the finding of liquid-based pap test is consistent with "cin i" grading or it contradicts it. Please also advise if I should go for "hpv virus dna testing" for further investigation or this test is unwarranted. Should I wait for another year and go for this liquid-based test again. Please advise my future course of action.
