Sir why in typhoid case doctors advised igg, igm antibody test and if these antibodies will b positive in the patient blood it will b diagnosed with the typhoid but as we hae seen that these antibodies are positive in any disease sir.

The presence of antibodies indicate a past infection in a person to which antibodies are formed due to body's response. The antigens prove present infection or the surface antigens in circulation which when reaches the related site/ organ like liver, spleen or lymph tissues will produce antibodies.
