Hello Sir, I have withdrawn alcohol since 50 days my family Dr. has suggested me to take librium 25 mg tab every night and I am doing so now I am completely normal shall I continue the tab librium or reduce or stop is it safe l have overcome all minor sometimes.

Reduce it to librium 25 half tablet for 15 days, then stop.

No librium needs to be stopped as well. If you are having craving for alcohol or sleep disturbance after that, then anti craving medication and reason for sleep disturbance has to be treated. Librium is used for withdrawal from alcoholism and stopped after few days or weeks as needed. If in doubt, consult a psychiatrist, as they know exactly how to do the process of withdrawal, deaddiction and maintenance for alcohol related problems.

Welcome back lybrate-user. Congratulations for remaining without alcohol for 50 days. Please give yourself some gift out of the money saved so far, by not buying alcohol. Now you need to stop librium also. Please take librium 10 mg or 1/2 of 25 mg for 2 weeks and then stop it fully.
