The main problem with pcod is that it cannot be completely cured but the symptoms can be minimised by lifestyle modification and weight reduction. Medications are required depending on the symptoms with which patients present. Daily brisk walk for 30 min, regular exercise and low calorie diet are the long term solutions. However do not worry. Hope you have done recently usg, blood for tsh, sugar and prl. To make your cycles regular you may require few cycles of combined oral hormonal pills or 10 days of progesterone in each cycle. Things will settle down with weight reduction.
