I have anxiety disorder neuropsychiatric prescribed me cipralex 10 mg daily morning and due to sleeplessness doctor prescribed me petril md 0.5 1/2 tablet at night I have been taking cipralex for 27 days and I took petril md for 18 days doctor said me to stop taking petril when I went for review yesterday he said to continue cipralex 10 mg and petril md 0.5 at night for another 30 days then he will slowly take me of it ,i asked him I have been taking petril 0.5 1/2 tablet he said 0.5 is not high dose, please recommend me the doctor is saying is correct or is he guiding me correct?

You can take the dose by your psychiatrist. And yes 0.5 is a small dose. But if you are comfortable with half tablet of 0.5 then that's also fine.
