I am a mother of twin daughter. From which my younger daughter is not having her thyroid gland. She was diagnosed late after 18 months of her birth. She is now taking eltroxin tab. Being 5.5 year she not able to talk properly. She is very active ,get angry very soon. She is going to jr kg but still not talking. Can someone suggest me a good psychiatrist.

Your daughter does not have psychiatry problem and the delay in speech development is a consequence of thyroid issues in early stage. Ou cna patiently wait after correction of thyroid profile. More details need to be discussed and a check up is needed.

If it is late diagnosed congenital hypothyroidism then it may create issue with learning ability. Consult endocrinologist first.
