Hi Sir, My sis had a 32 weeks premature baby just 10 days before. The baby is incubated so far. Now the baby is fine so the doc told he will be shifting baby to the mother's room. But now today morning doc says the baby is anemic of hemoglobin being only 6. He advises for blood transfusion. Please help me get a clear idea. I'm confused whether to take up docs advise.

If baby is anaemic then they hv to give blood. Bcoz due to low haemoglobin it will cause problem to baby. So dnt worry its not dangerous. They will give only little amount of blood not whole blood. Its approx 50/60 ml only. N they will start hematinics drop also. Can call me mobile.
