Drink plenty of water as much as possible (hope you don't have any other co-morbidities, diseases and is healthy otherwise). Veltam contains tamsulosin 0.4 mg. Take it only once at night at bedtime. Don't stand up after taking the tablet for first few days as you may sense giddiness (side effect causing postural hypotension for fist few doses). Tamsulosin is a smooth muscle relaxant which helps in expulsion of the lower ureteric calculus through urethra. Get a repeat usg done after 10 days. If you are having too much pain or fever, consult a surgeon/urologist immediately, in that case it may be required to intervene by surgery surgery nowadays is a minimal invasive one (if it is required and conservative management fails or if there is any complication), no incision, it is done through natural orifice, i.e. External urethral meatus in this case. It is a matter of 30 mins state and the stone will be out.

This medicine is appropriate and may help in expulsion of stone. But mostly stone smaller then 6 mm can pass. Bigger stone need surgery. It is also causing backpressure, so get a repeat scan soon. If it is not moving down get it operated.
