Hello I am an 18 year old girl from India. From last 4 weeks, I started having blood tinged vaginal discharges. The consistency and color of the discharge varied and the traces found were of fresh blood. My doctor asked me to get a sonography done for lower abdomen. I went for a transabdominal ultrasound. No abnormality was detected. Ovaries, uterus and cervix were normal in size and echotexture. Do I need to get a pap smear done?

If you are unmarried, Pap smear won't help much. Rather ask your gynec to examine you with a speculum as you already had TVS.
