My daughter is at her age of 10. From the past 8 to 10 months, frequently she says that she feels head ace. Sometime in the evening and particularly in the morning while getting down from the bed she says about the head ace . We consulted with Ophthalmologists and they says all are normal. Further we consulted with a pediatrician. The Dr. Advised to take a CT Scan. Is it correct or please advise to whom we should consult about this further.

Head ache starting after getting up from bed is usually due to sinus problem--you have to take a x-ray of PNS, Head ache in the evening usually due to stress & strain You have done a good thing to show the case to EYE & CHILD specialist. She has to undergo health check up by a physician, to rule out medical causes.After identifying the problem we can consult the concerned specialist for better treatment. I don't think CT Scan is not appropriate at this stage.

Dear Get one CT scan done as rightly advised by paediatrician. Probably your daughter has headaches related to sinusitis ur migraine one or the other. CT scan would be advisable in such situation to rule out any intra cranial pathology.
