Hello Sir, I had unprotected sex on 23 jan. I do not know about the sexual history of that person but at that time their rdt result for hiv1 and 2 antibody was negative. But after 10 days I developed sore throat (not severe, only redness is there, no enlarged tonsil, no difficulties in swallowing no hoarseness of voice, but its not getting well) and some lymph nodes can be felt in my neck, they are not externally visible but can be palpated and becomes tender on frequent touching. No other visible symptoms I could felt. I took azithromycin antibiotic on my own for 4 days but no relief occurred. Now on 24th feb (at around 32 of intercourse) I got my cmia combo test for hiv1 and 2 antibody and p24 done by Dr. Lal path lab. The result came non reactive with 0.1 reading. But I still have that bit red thorat and enlarged lymph nodes but no other symptom. Sir should I worry? Is that cmia result reliable? Are there chances that the same test after 3 months can come positive? Are my symptoms can be due to hiv infection? Please guide me Sir.
