Respected Sir, It is advisable to take an OPG-Xray of full mouth first and after seeing the Xray, dentist will be in a better position to plan the treatment. Please kindly take an opinion depending upon the Xray.Â

Dear sir, kindly get the opg so that we can rule out any periodontal problems, if theres a severe bone loss she has to go for extraction and implants(1st option), or bridges(in bridges, she has to go for rcts for abutment teeth for long standing bridges)Â

Hi, Need to evaluate the extent of bone loss and mobility in her teeth .If the bone loss is advanced with lot of mobility in her teeth .Iam afraid extraction is the only option. But to rehabilitate the teeth after extraction .We have lots of option. If the bone loss is generlized then the support structure of the supporting teeth for the bridges will also be compromised .So in that case one can go for dental implants which is the best choice. However if the bone loss is not severe.Flap surgery to restore the health of teeth is also a good optionÂ

Hello actually it depends on the supporting structures of your teeth whether one or multiple teeth need to be removed. We will be glad to help you if you can share your wife's full mouth x ray (opg) so that we can access the supporting bone on the adjacent teeth.Â

Hi , If your is having gums problem then its very difficult to treat and in many cases we can says its impossible to regain lost periodontal tissue. You can go to some good periodontist of your city he must be able to treat your wife's case. Because without seeing OPG x-ray i will not be able to give you exact treatment plan.Â

It depends on strenght of gums attachment and bone level, please go for OPG which shows bone condition and than let doctor decide what to do. If week teeth will be used as support in fixed teeth-bridge it will create more complications and supporting tooth may be lost very early.Implant is another good option. You can go for periodontal surgery with bone graft depending on condition of gums and bone surrounding teethÂ

Now technology is advance so no need to remove the affected teeth. As per your detail your wife have pyorrhea (gum problem) it causes mobility to teeth. If teeth is more mobile with exposed half of root than it can be removed but there is possibility to save the mobile teeth by doing Flap surgery with bone graft if required and splinting and by Root Canal treatment also. There is a Hope . So consult a Periodontist for that and save the remaining teeth and replace the missing teeth with dental implant or dental Bridge for more detail ask me any timeÂ

I think it is first important to strengthen the bone and gums by nutritional and periodontal therapy. The bridge's have to be done after thisÂ

For a bridge, support is taken from tooth which is not mobile & which will not become mobile after putting bridge. To evaluate this X ray should be done. As your wife is 50 years her teeth might be mobile & not favourable for taking support. Hence extraction advised. 1 extraction & 7 extraction are way apart & any person will get confused. Plz consult a better dentist with X rays & ask for explanation.Â

Sir, you have basically seen 2 dentists whose opinions were at variance with each other. So you need to decide which opinion you would like to accept. Try and talk to the dentists, and discuss the reasons for their opinions. Get their rationale for the proposed plan. Maybe get another opinion as well. That might help you decide about the plan most suited to you.Â
