Dear Lybrateuser, -to lower your ldl level avoid fried, refined carbohydrates as in white atta, rice, saturated & trans fat containing foods such as whole milk & dairy, bakery products, ghee, also red meats if you take, avoid alcohol and smoking if you do - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, protein foods such as low fat milk, tofu, yogurt, buttermilk milk, cottage cheese, healthy fats as in fish, olive & canola oil for cooking, avocados & a handful of unsalted mixed nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews and peanuts - take the help of a dietitian for a proper diet requirement for your problem - for b12 deficiency have lean meats, enriched foods & supplements - for vit d have foods such as eggs, fish such as salmon, tuna, enriched foods such as orange juice, soya milk (also lowers ldl cholesterol) - walk in natural sunlight for 10-15 min helps to increase the level of vit d in the body.
